TSA Regulatory Group

Supporting the Air Cargo Industry

The TSA Regulatory Group is made up of CLDA member companies that are engaged as Indirect Air Carriers, or IACs, and are subject to strict regulation by the TSA. These companies tender cargo to and from airlines and are a crucial part of the international trade network, especially given the rise of ecommerce and the increasing numbers of inbound small packages entering the United States every year.

These members are passionate about the air cargo industry and are keen watchers of regulation and policy coming out of the Department of Transportation, the Transportation Security Administration, and the Customs and Border Protection agency. CLDA’s TSA Regulatory Group is a subcommittee of the Government Affairs Committee and meets regularly to discuss issues unique to IAC members.
