Final Mile Forum (FMF) Committee
The FMF Committee helps to plan this annual event with the goal to make it a valuable investment for attendees. With considerations for the education sessions, networking opportunities, exhibitor and sponsor opportunities, the committee provides feedback on trending topics, industry insights, valuable content, and aspects that will enhance the event.

Membership Committee
The primary role of the Membership Committee is to oversee and provide guidance on recruitment efforts for new members and retention of existing members. This involves identifying benefits of membership and creating initiatives to keep current members engaged. The committee works to enhance the overall member experience by organizing events, programs, or initiatives that encourage member participation and engagement. At times, the committee may be involved in developing and recommending policies related to membership, such as eligibility criteria, membership fees, and benefits.

Education Committee
The Education Committee is committed to identifying high quality educational opportunities that serve member interests through virtual events, resources, and other opportunities. Drawing from trending topics, industry issues, business operations, and member interests, the Education Committee seeks speakers and programs to share with members to help them grow their businesses and be more successful in the industry.

Government Affairs Committee
The Government Affairs Committee serves as the voice of CLDA on Capitol Hill, in the 50 state capitals, and within regulatory agencies to advance the interests of the same day, next day expedited delivery industry. This committee proactively takes action on a wide variety of issues. CLDA members interested in politics or who have detailed knowledge of CLDA issues are encouraged to get involved with the many government affairs initiatives.

Marketing & Public Relations (PR) Committee
The Marketing & PR Committee aims to promote and market the CLDA and the use of CLDA members to outside organizations, prospective members, and customers through the CLDA Magazine, website, social media, and other marketing channels. They are focused on bringing more awareness to both the industry and the use of CLDA members.

Magazine Advisory Committee
The Magazine Advisory Committee works closely with the CLDA Magazine Editor to shape each issue of the publication by providing guidance and information on the industry. The magazine contains emerging trends and issues, industry insights and information, CLDA announcements, member news, and engaging articles.

Shipper Committee
The Shipper Committee specifically recruits the shipping community to join the last mile transportation providers who are current members in order to collaborate on continued improvement of efficiency, security and cost containment of the supply chain. While a major initiative of the committee is to recruit shippers for the FMF each year, the committee strives to generate more meaningful connections with shipper throughout the year.
