Your Voice on Capitol Hill
The Government Affairs Committee serves as the voice of CLDA on Capitol Hill, in the 50 state capitals, and within regulatory agencies to advance the interests of the same day expedited delivery industry.
CLDA Government Affairs proactively takes action on a wide variety of issues. From a Congressional legislative proposal, to Department of Labor worker misclassification matters, to Internal Revenue Service tax issues, to Department of Transportation cell phone bans, CLDA is fighting on your behalf.
CLDA members interested in politics or who have detailed knowledge of CLDA issues are encouraged to get involved with our many government affairs initiatives. The Government Affairs Committee meets regular to discuss issues and determine the appropriate strategy for the industry.
For questions, comments or more information, please contact CLDA Executive Director Mary Ann Passi, CAE.
