Membership Committee (meets monthly year-round)
The Membership Committee is ideal for individuals passionate about community building and networking. Members:
- Support strategies to engage and grow membership
- Review and improve member benefits and services
- Review and advise how to enhance member satisfaction and value
- Collaborates with staff on programs to attract new members, especially local Connect events

Marketing Committee (meets monthly year-round)
The Marketing Committee advises the CLDA staff on messaging appropriate for audience fit to communicate all CLDA programs, services, and Association goals. This work supports all CLDA’s pillars. This committee is a great fit for individuals involved in other associations and can share their marketing expertise. Members:
- Supports marketing efforts to potential members by providing strategic insights on industry dynamics
- Aligns marketing efforts in accordance with association growth plan
- Collaborates with staff to assess marketing performance

Growing Education
Education Committee (meets monthly year-round)
The Education Committee advises on trends and insights to help ensure content is relevant, timely, and valuable to CLDA members and the overall industry. This committee is looking for individuals tracking industry trends and active in other supply chain industries. Members:
- Help develop an annual education plan aligned with member needs and industry trends
- Advise on content creation to ensure relevance and high quality
- Review and incorporate feedback from member surveys and event evaluations
- Advises on educational content for in-person and virtual events, including FMF, podcasts, blogs, and webinars

Final Mile Forum (FMF) Committee
The FMF Committee implements directions set by the Board of Directors with the Education Committee input to help plan an annual conference event to ensure value to attendees. Individuals interested in creating engaging experiential events are encouraged to join this committee. Members:
- Enhance the event by shaping education sessions, networking, and exhibitor/sponsor opportunities
- Advocate for FMF to members and non-members
- Help identify SMEs on trending topics, industry insights, and valuable content
- Meets monthly, primarily June 2025 – February 2026

Growing Advocacy
Government Affairs Committee (meets monthly year-round)
The Government Affairs Committee sets priorities for CLDA’s advocacy efforts, addresses key industry issues, supports Advocacy Fund fundraising, and participates in Lobby Day. Members interested in advocacy and the legislative process are encouraged to get involved.
- Serves as CLDA’s voice on Capitol Hill, in state capitals, and with regulatory agencies
- Educates collaborative organizations and related industries on advocacy issues
- Helps set the agenda and speaking points for government affairs efforts
- Proactively addresses issues impacting the customized logistics industry
- Supports fundraising for the Advocacy Fund and participates in Lobby Day
