Final Mile Forum (FMF) Committee
The FMF Committee helps to plan this annual event with the goal to make it a valuable investment for attendees based on the approved budget. With considerations for the education sessions, networking opportunities, exhibitor and sponsor opportunities, the committee provides feedback on trending topics, industry insights, valuable content, and aspects that will enhance the event.

Fall Event Committee
The Fall Event Committee (formerly known as Executive Leadership Summit (ELS), Virtual Shipper Exchange, Final Mile Focus) helps to identify a topical theme for the virtual event to bring educational and networking value throughout the year in addition to the Final Mile Forum (FMF). The Fall Event Committee provides feedback on ideas, industry trends, subject matter experts, and speaker selection.

Government Affairs Committee
The Government Affairs Committee serves as the voice of CLDA on Capitol Hill, in the 50 state capitals, and within regulatory agencies to advance the interests of the customized time-critical logistics industry. This committee helps to set the agenda and talking points for efforts related to CLDA’s government affairs program. This committee proactively takes action on a wide variety of issues impacting the industry, including assists with fundraising efforts for the Advocacy Fund and participates in Lobby Day. CLDA encourages members who have an interest in learning more about advocacy and the legislative process to get involved.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee exists to enhance the overall member experience for all membership categories with consideration to CLDA’s goals as identified in the strategic plan. The primary role of the Membership Committee provides feedback and guidance on recruitment efforts for new members and retention of existing members. This involves consulting on benefits of membership and recommending initiatives to enhance the overall member experience. At times, the committee may be involved in recommending for approval initiatives related to membership, such as eligibility criteria, membership fees, and benefits.
